Please read the following statements carefully, as they address the rules of engagement between us.

The website Campus Co-Evolve is owned and operated by Campus Co-Evolve, a Community Interest Company (CIC) registered in the United Kingdom ((12812131).

Your privacy is critically important to us. We want to assure you we respect your data protection rights in compliance with the latest EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements as of 25th May 2018. 

1. How we are dealing with your personal information

A. Information that we may collect from you
  • Information that you provide by filling in any applicable forms during the application process.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • Details of your visits to this Site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data.
  • Video recordings of our virtual sessions including the one-to-one conversations.
  • Your user profile that you fill in on the Discourse community site.
  • Your personal sharings and intellectual contributions to forum conversations or in form of testimonials
  • Personal interviews

When you e-mail us, or use a contact form within this Site, we will use your email address for the purposes of administering your query and responding to you. We will not publish your email address on this Site. Unless you give your explicit permission we will not use your name and email address to send you, nor allow any associated companies to send you, any unwanted marketing information.

B. How we use your information for contractual purposes

we need to process your information because it is necessary to provide the service. This includes:

  • Confirming that you have signed up for the service and to inform you of arrangements relating to that service;
  • Confirming that you comply with any registration/entry requirements and terms and conditions, including notifying you of any specific changes;
  • Where relevant, telling you when it is time to renew or re-register;
  • Informing you of results where relevant;
  • Processing payments or sending you receipts as required.
C. How we use your information  

We process personal information about you where we have a legitimate interest to do so. In some cases, this may require us to collect additional information from you or from other sources. The purposes include:

  • To provide you with information that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes in order to enhance your learning experience during the course.
  • Creating a file on every aspect of your involvement in the Campus in order to facilitate your expected outcomes during the course. 
  • Please note that our special methodology requires peer learning during which other participants will have access to your personal details that you share on our Discourse site.
  • To contribute to the development of a collaborative action research led by our “resident” cultural anthropologist.
  • To prepare the production of a multimedia story about Campus Co-Evolve. 
  • To notify you about changes to our company or our services.

If you do not want us to use your data in this way, please notify us by email.

We have carried out legitimate interest assessments (LIA) to ensure that the above processing activities are necessary and are carried out in a way that ensures a balance of our interests and those of any other relevant third parties in processing information about you and your own individual interests, rights and freedoms in respect of this information. As part of these assessments, we have identified appropriate safeguards, especially to protect the interests of data subjects who are children. We can provide details of these assessments on request.

You have the right to object to any of the processing we undertake based on legitimate interests based on your own individual circumstances. We will stop processing your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing, which override your individual interests, rights and freedoms or we need to continue to process your information in connection with a legal claim. If you wish to object to any of the processing activities we undertake based on legitimate interests, you can contact any member of the Enabling Circle.

D. Why we may share information about you

We may need to share limited personal information with the following organisations:

  • Statutory/regulatory authorities and other organizations
  • Professional and legal advisors
  • Researchers taking part in the prototyping of the Campus.

How long we keep information about you?

We will retain your personal data only as necessary to provide the services to which you have subscribed or where we have another legitimate and lawful reason to do so. At your request or if you do not renew your participation within two years we will delete any information that we no longer have a reason to retain, unless you ask us not to.

F. Your rights regarding the personal information about you:

You have important rights under data protection law. In summary these include:

  • To be informed about how your information is processed
    We hope that the information in our privacy notice has achieved this but please contact any member of the Enabling Circle if there is any additional information you require.

  • To access any personal data held about you
    You have the right to see the personal information we hold about you. This is called a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR/SAR). You can log in to your account at any time to view the information we hold about you on your user account on the Discourse platform.

    If we do hold information about you, we will:
    – Describe the information we hold and tell you why we are holding it;
    – Tell you who it could be shared with; and
    – Provide you with a copy of the requested information in an easy to understand format.

  • To have your data rectified if it is inaccurate
    If we do hold information about you, you can ask us to correct or amend any inaccurate or incomplete information by contacting us via email at info@campus-coevolve.org. We will either make the requested amendments or provide an explanation as to why we are not making changes.

  • To have your data deleted (except if there is a valid lawful reason to retain it)
    You can also log in at any point to amend or delete some of the information held in your user account that has changed or is no longer accurate.

    You have a right to request the deletion of your information in advance of the above retention periods. We will delete this information unless there is a lawful reason for the information to be retained.

    Where you have given us your consent for your personal information to be used for a particular purpose, you have the right to withdraw this consent at any time.

  • To have your information restricted or blocked from processing
    If you object to processing, we will restrict the processing of your information for the purpose to which you are objecting whilst we review your objection.

  • To portability
    This means where the information you have provided is moved or transferred to an alternative provider.

  • To object to:
    • Any processing based on legitimate interests 
    • Any automated decision making including profiling (which we only undertake for reasons related to your progress at the course).
    • Your personal information being used for direct marketing activities
      If you object to any direct marketing we undertake, including any profiling we undertake related to this activity (where we decide that a communication would be of interest based on your membership profile) we will no longer use your information for these purposes.

2. Intellectual Property

A. All the Materials created by the members of the Enabling Circle of Campus Co-Evolve are protected by the following Creative Commons license.

Given this licence, you are free to:

  • Share — copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format
  • Adapt — remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially


Under the following terms:

  • Attribution — You must give appropriate credit to Campus Co-Evolve, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.


B. Use of your shared intellectual property on our learning platform:

  • Forum conversations: anything you share within forum discussions can be used to contribute to the prototyping process of Campus Co-evolve’s methodology, learning design and community building

Testimonials that appear on either of our sites are actually received via text, audio or video submission. They are individual experiences, reflecting real life experiences of those who have used our services in some way. They are individual results and results do vary. We do not claim that they are typical results. 

The testimonials displayed in any form on this site (text, audio, video or other) are reproduced verbatim, except for correction of grammatical or typing errors. Some may have been shortened. In other words, not the whole message received by the testimonial writer is displayed when it seems too lengthy or not the whole statement seems relevant for the general public.

We may in the future need to restrict access to parts (or all) of our website and reserve full rights to do so. If, at any point, we provide you with a username and password for you to access restricted areas of our website, you must ensure that both your username and password are kept confidential.

ACCESS TO INFORMATION
